Baked Lemon Pepper Cod Ingredients

Method

Baked Lemon Pepper Cod Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cod

Rinse the cod fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  3. 3

    Make the Breading

In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add the olive oil and lemon juice, mixing well until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Coat the Fillets

Place the cod fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet to coat.

  5. 5

    Bake the Cod

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the breading is golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the baked cod fillets hot with tartar sauce on the side.
