Prepare the Tuna
Trim the bluefin tuna into a rectangular block. Season the tuna with salt and black pepper.

Make the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Marinate the Tuna
Place the tuna in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Sear the Tuna
Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat. Add a little oil if necessary. Sear the tuna for 30-45 seconds on each side, until the outside is browned but the inside remains rare.

Slice the Tuna
Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice it thinly against the grain.

Plate the Tuna
Arrange the sliced tuna on top of the cucumber and berries. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the dish.

Sprinkle sesame seeds and fresh cilantro or microgreens over the top before serving.
