Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of provolone cheese on each chicken breast and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the chicken is grilling, slice the tomato and onion. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Yard Bird

On the bottom half of each brioche bun, place a lettuce leaf, then the grilled chicken with melted provolone, followed by crispy bacon, tomato slices, and onion rings. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Yard Bird sandwiches warm with your favorite side dish.
