Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels. This will help the seasoning stick.

  2. 2

    Choose Your Seasoning

Decide whether you want to blacken the salmon, use lemon pepper, or glaze it with bourbon.

  3. 3

    Apply Seasoning

If using blackening seasoning, rub the olive oil over the salmon and then coat it with blackening seasoning on both sides. For lemon pepper, simply sprinkle the lemon pepper seasoning over the salmon. For bourbon glaze, brush the glaze over the salmon.

  4. 4

    Cook the Salmon

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil if necessary. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down (if it has skin) and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with your choice of two sides.
