Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the toppings

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until they become translucent. Add the mushrooms and jalapeños, and cook until mushrooms are browned and tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the beef patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the black Angus beef patties with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place one slice of American, provolone, and Swiss cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the burger

Toast the brioche buns lightly on the grill or in a separate skillet. Place each cheesy beef patty on the bottom half of the bun, top with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and jalapeños. Cover with the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Double Oaked burgers immediately with your favorite sides.
