Method

Preparation

1

Cook Pasta Shells

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

2

Prepare Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assembly

3

Fill Pasta Shells

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take each cooked pasta shell and fill it generously with the ricotta filling using a spoon or a piping bag.

4

Prepare Baking Dish

Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

5

Arrange Filled Shells

Place the filled pasta shells on top of the marinara sauce in the baking dish. Once all shells are placed, pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top.

6

Add Toppings

Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the marinara sauce covering the shells.

Baking

7

Bake

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

8

Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your stuffed shells warm!
