Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients. If using shrimp, ensure they are peeled and deveined.

Cook the Protein
In a large pan or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, beef, or tofu. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. If using shrimp, add them during the last 3 minutes of cooking.

Add the Curry Paste
Stir in the green curry paste and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add Coconut Milk and Vegetables
Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Add the broccoli, zucchini, cabbage, and carrots. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Finish with Herbs
Add the Kaffir lime leaves and fresh basil. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with additional basil if desired.
