Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.

Brown the Beef
Add the ground Angus beef to the skillet, cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Stir in the canned diced tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and half of the chopped basil. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta with the sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Serve the pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and the remaining fresh basil. Enjoy with a bread roll on the side.
