Pasta and Vegetables

Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Broccoli and Sausage

  1. 2

    Sauté Broccoli and Sausage

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned. Add broccoli florets and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Making the Sauce

  1. 3

    Choose Your Sauce

If using the white sauce, add chicken stock and fresh herbs to the skillet. Stir and let simmer for 3-5 minutes. For the red sauce, add the signature marinara sauce to the sausage and broccoli mixture, stirring to combine.

Combining Everything

  1. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve

Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired.
