Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the ribeye steak thinly against the grain. Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté until they are soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Steak and Vegetables

Add the cooked steak back into the skillet with the vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Cheesesteak

Place the garlic bread on a baking sheet. Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture onto the garlic bread, then top with provolone cheese.

  6. 6

    Melt the Cheese

Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve hot.
