Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and place it in a roasting pan.
- 2
Season the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin for extra flavor.
- 3
Roast the Chicken
Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste the chicken with the juices every 30 minutes.
- 4
Rest and Carve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes. Carve the chicken and serve with the chicken jus.
