BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mixture over the ribs thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for 3 hours. After 3 hours, brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce onto the ribs and continue smoking for an additional hour.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Shoestring Fries

While the ribs are finishing smoking, prepare the shoestring fries according to package instructions or fry them fresh until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix with coleslaw dressing. Toss until the mixture is evenly coated.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the ribs are done smoking, remove them from the smoker, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice into portions. Serve with shoestring fries and coleslaw on the side.
