Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Filling

In a bowl, crumble the paneer and mix it with grated carrot, chopped cabbage, capsicum, ginger, green chili, salt, black pepper powder, and cilantro. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Dough

In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt and enough water to make a soft dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Momos

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center, fold the edges together, and pinch to seal tightly.

  4. 4

    Marinate the Momos

In a small bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, and salt. Brush this mixture over the momos to coat them evenly.

  5. 5

    Cook the Momos

Preheat a tandoor or oven to 200°C (392°F). Place the momos on a greased baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown. Alternatively, steam them for 10-12 minutes.
