Method

For the Momos

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt and enough water to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a separate bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, green chili, and salt. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Shape the Momos

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle, place a tablespoon of filling in the center, and fold to seal the momo. Ensure there are no air pockets.

  4. 4

    Steam the Momos

Steam the momos in a steamer for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through. Keep warm.

For the Chowmein

  1. 5

    Cook the Noodles

Boil chowmein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 6

    Stir-fry the Vegetables

In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, and sliced bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.

  3. 7

    Combine Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked noodles to the vegetables, pour in soy sauce, and season with black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

  4. 8

    Garnish

Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
