Dough

Marinade for Tandoori Momo

Method

Prepare the Dough

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water while kneading until you form a smooth dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Filling

  1. 2

    Mix the Filling

In a bowl, combine ground chicken, cabbage, carrot, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Assemble the Momos

  1. 3

    Shape the Momos

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle. Place a spoonful of filling in the center and fold the edges to seal. Make pleats to secure the filling.

Cook the Momos

  1. 4

    Fry the Momos

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the momos until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Bake for Tandoori Momos

Marinate the momos in yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, and salt for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20 minutes.

  3. 6

    Prepare Chili Momos

In a separate pan, heat oil, add the fried momos, and toss with chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and spring onion. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
