For the Blackened Fish
Method
Instructions
Prepare the Fish
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Rub both sides of each fillet with cajun seasoning.
Cook the Fish
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned fish fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a blackened crust. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Dish
Place the cooked fish on a serving plate. Top each fillet with diced tomatoes, avocado, a dollop of sour cream, and shredded lettuce. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
Serve
Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
