Chicken Wings
Lemon Pepper Sauce
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a crispier skin when baked or fried.
- 2
Season the Chicken Wings
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, lemon zest, garlic powder, and olive oil. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
Cooking
- 3
Bake the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Making the Sauce
- 4
Prepare the Lemon Pepper Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serving
- 5
Serve the Wings
Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle the lemon pepper sauce over the wings, ensuring they are well coated. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
