Prepare the Filling
- 1
Mix Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Assemble the Gyoza
- 2
Fill the Wrappers
Take a gyoza wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and press the edges together to seal. You can pleat the edges for a decorative look. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
Cook the Gyoza
- 3
Fry and Steam
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the gyoza to the skillet in a single layer. Fry for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. Carefully add water to the skillet and cover immediately with a lid. Allow to steam for about 5 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the gyoza are cooked through.

Serve
Remove the lid and let the gyoza cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to crisp up the bottoms. Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
