Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguini

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 2

    Season and Cook Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over shrimp and toss to coat. Add shrimp to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Ultimate Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet used for the shrimp, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper, cooking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Combine Pasta and Shrimp

Add cooked linguini and shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency. Stir in chopped parsley for freshness.

  2. 5

    Serve

Plate the Cajun shrimp linguini, garnishing with additional parsley or Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
