Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Rinse the shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and clams under cold water. Set aside in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Halve the potatoes, cut the corn into thirds, and quarter the onion and lemon. Mince the garlic and set all vegetables aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Boil the Water

In a large pot, add 4 quarts of water, 2 tablespoons of salt, and bring to a rolling boil.

  2. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

Once the water is boiling, add the halved potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.

  3. 5

    Add Corn and Seasonings

Add the corn, garlic, onion, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.

  4. 6

    Add Seafood

Carefully add the shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and clams to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and the mussels and clams have opened.

Serving

  1. 7

    Drain and Serve

Using a slotted spoon or a colander, drain the seafood and vegetables. Transfer to a large serving platter.

  2. 8

    Add Finishing Touches

Drizzle the melted butter over the seafood and vegetables. Sprinkle chopped parsley and garnish with lemon wedges.

  3. 9

    Enjoy

Serve immediately, providing additional Cajun seasoning and butter on the side as desired.
