Chicken and Bolognese Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Make the Bolognese Sauce

In the same skillet, add chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking for another minute. Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 15 minutes to thicken.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Dish

Pour the bolognese sauce over the fried chicken breasts. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.

  4. 4

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Enjoy your Chicken Parmigiana Bolognese ala Vodka Fra DiAvolo!
