Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- 2
Cook the Brisket
If using pre-smoked brisket, slice it into thin pieces. If it's not cooked, smoke it on low heat until tender, then slice.
- 3
Form the Patties
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into three equal patties, making them slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink while cooking.
- 4
- 5
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each bun, add a layer of lettuce, a slice of tomato, a beef patty with melted cheese, some crispy bacon, a generous portion of smoked brisket, pickles, and barbecue sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve
Serve the Heart Attack Burger immediately with your choice of fries or onion rings.
