Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the Brisket

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the brisket with salt and pepper. Place it in a roasting pan and cover it tightly with foil. Roast for approximately 3 hours, or until the meat is tender. Once done, let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. This should take about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burger Patties

In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the meat is cooking, wash and chop the lettuce. Slice the tomato and onion into rings. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Heart Attack

On a large plate, start with a base of lettuce. Place a slice of brisket on top, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese. Layer on the crispy bacon, fresh tomato slices, onion rings, pickles, and a generous dollop of mayo. Repeat the layers with the second burger patty, brisket, and remaining toppings.

  6. 6

    Serve

Cut the assembled burger in half for easier handling. Serve immediately and enjoy your indulgent Heart Attack burger!
