Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the meat into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Once done, remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- 3
Cook the Patties
In the same pan used for the bacon, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 4
Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover the pan to melt the cheese.
- 5
Prepare Brisket or Pulled Pork
If using brisket or pulled pork, heat it in a separate pan until warmed through.
- 6
Prepare the Vegetables
Slice the tomato, onion, and prepare the lettuce leaf and pickles.
- 7
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of a burger bun, spread mayonnaise, then layer with lettuce, a cheese patty, bacon, brisket or pulled pork, another cheese patty, onion rings, tomato slices, onion, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
