Method

Prepare the Broth

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pot, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green onions. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Simmer the Broth

Allow the broth to simmer for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Prepare the Bulgogi Beef

  1. 3

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef sirloin, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Bulgogi

In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Cook the Ramen

  1. 5

    Boil Water

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes.

  2. 6

    Drain and Rinse

Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

Assemble the Ramen Bowl

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In serving bowls, divide the cooked ramen noodles. Ladle the hot broth over the noodles.

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

Top the ramen with the cooked bulgogi beef, soft-boiled eggs, nori sheets, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Bulgogi Shoyu Ramen!
