For the Coffee Mixture

Prepare Coffee Mixture
Brew strong coffee and let it cool. In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee with coffee liqueur.
For the Cream Mixture

Whisk Egg Yolks
Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks with granulated sugar until pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone and Vanilla
Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract into the egg yolk mixture until smooth.

Whip Heavy Cream
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
For Assembly

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a serving dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers, followed by half of the cream mixture. Repeat the layers.

Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
