Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, diced carrot, and diced celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Once the beef is browned, add the crushed canned tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir well to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Let it cook uncovered for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

Combine Spaghetti and Sauce
Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
