Preparing the Clams

Clean the Clams
Place the clams in a bowl of cold water and let them sit for 30 minutes to an hour. This helps them expel sand. Rinse the clams under cold running water to remove any debris.

Add Basil and Bacon
Chop the cooked bacon into small pieces and add it to the pot along with the fresh basil leaves. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Preparing the Garlic Bread

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the Bread
Sprinkle garlic powder over the buttered bread. Optionally, you can add a pinch of salt or fresh parsley for extra flavor.
