Garlic Bread
Method
Prepare Linguine
- 1
Cook the Linguine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- 2
Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic (4 cloves) and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
- 3
Add Clams and Wine
Add the clams to the skillet and pour in the white wine. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the clams are heated through and the wine has reduced slightly.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water, chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
