Chicken Fried Steak

Prepare the Steak
Pound the filet mignon to about 1/4 inch thickness using a meat mallet. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Set Up Breading Station
In one shallow bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In a second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Set up a third bowl for additional flour.

Fry the Steak
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded steak. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.

Serve
Serve the fried steak topped with the white gravy.

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet. Sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
