Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 3
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, add the beef patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip the patties.
- 4
Add Cheese
Place a slice of American cheese on each patty after flipping. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.
- 5
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burgers
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, two slices of bacon, tomato slices, onion slices, and dill pickle slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
