Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meat Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well and set aside.
- 3
Assemble the Lasagna
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then add half of the cheese mixture. Add another layer of meat sauce, followed by 3 more noodles, the remaining cheese mixture, and another layer of meat sauce. Top with the remaining noodles, the rest of the meat sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- 4
Bake the Lasagna
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 5
Cool and Serve
Let the lasagna cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
