Chicken Satay

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips and marinate it in a mixture of coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, lime juice, and salt for at least 30 minutes.

2

Soak Skewers

Soak the wooden skewers in water for about 15 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.

3

Skewer the Chicken

Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the soaked skewers.

4

Grill the Satay

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken skewers for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly charred.

5

Prepare the Peanut Sauce

In a saucepan, combine peanut butter, water, lime juice, soy sauce, and red chili flakes. Heat over low heat, stirring until smooth and well combined.

6

Serve

Serve the grilled chicken skewers with the warm peanut sauce on the side.
