Ingredients

Turkey

Green Bean Casserole

Corn Pudding

Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes

Preparation

Turkey Preparation

1. Prep the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Remove the giblets from the turkey cavity and pat the turkey dry with paper towels. Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme. Stuff the cavity with garlic, onion, carrots, and celery.

2. Roast the Turkey

Place the turkey breast-side up on a rack in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste occasionally with pan juices.

3. Rest the Turkey

Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.

Green Bean Casserole

4. Prepare the Casserole

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Trim the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 5 minutes. In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Add the green beans and half of the French fried onions. Stir to combine.

5. Bake the Casserole

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining French fried onions. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Corn Pudding

6. Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, salt, and melted butter. Stir in the corn kernels and cornmeal until well combined.

7. Bake the Corn Pudding

Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-45 minutes, or until set and golden on top.

Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes

8. Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

9. Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add buttermilk, butter, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy, adjusting the seasoning to taste.
