Turkey Marinade

Method

Marinate the Turkey

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, and lime juice. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Turkey

Place the whole turkey in a large resealable bag or container. Pour the marinade over the turkey, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or container and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Prepare the Stuffing

  1. 3

    Prepare Stuffing Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped lemongrass, shallots, and cilantro. Mix well.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Turkey

After marinating, remove the turkey from the refrigerator and stuff the cavity with the lemongrass mixture.

Roast the Turkey

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 6

    Roast the Turkey

Place the stuffed turkey in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for approximately 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  3. 7

    Rest and Serve

Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before carving. Serve warm.
