Method
Dumpling Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 2
Wrap the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat this process until all filling is used.

Cooking the Dumplings
You can either steam, boil, or pan-fry the dumplings. For steaming, place the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper and steam for about 15 minutes. For boiling, add dumplings to boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes until they float. For pan-frying, heat a little oil in a skillet, add dumplings, and fry until the bottom is golden, then add water to the pan, cover, and steam for about 8 minutes.

Serve
Once cooked, serve the dumplings hot with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil.
