Steak Sandwich

Skillet Fried Potatoes

Method

Steak Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bread

While the steak is resting, toast the slices of open-faced bread in the skillet until lightly golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the steak against the grain and place on the toasted bread. Drizzle with Henry Bain sauce and add lettuce and tomato on top if desired.

Skillet Fried Potatoes

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel (if desired) the potatoes. Cut them into small cubes or wedges.

  2. 6

    Cook the Potatoes

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the potato cubes and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy on the outside and tender inside.
