Method
Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the wings.
- 2
Prepare the wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange on a baking sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- 4
Bake the wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Frying the Wings
- 5
Heat the oil
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 6
Fry the wings
Carefully add the baked chicken wings to the hot oil, frying them in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are crispy.
- 7
Drain the wings
Remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serving
- 8
Toss in sauce
In a large bowl, toss the crispy wings with your choice of sauce until they are evenly coated.
- 9
Serve
Serve the chicken wings hot with additional sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
