Burger Patty Preparation

Mix the Beef
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾ inch thick.

Toast the English Muffins
Split and toast the English muffins until golden brown.

Layer the Toppings
On the bottom half of each muffin, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, and onion slices.

Top with the other half of the muffin. Press down gently to secure the toppings.
