Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure they are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Chops

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove from skillet and let them rest.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Rice Pilaf

In the same skillet, add the rice and toast for 2 minutes. Then, add the chicken broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

  4. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In another pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mixed seasonal vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pork chops alongside the rice pilaf and seasonal vegetable medley. Garnish with parsley if desired.
