Meatball Hoagie

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form and Bake the Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.

  3. 3

    Heat the Marinara Sauce

While the meatballs are baking, heat the house marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Hoagies

Remove the meatballs from the oven. Place a few meatballs into each hoagie bun, top with warmed marinara sauce, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

  5. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Broil the assembled hoagies in the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Fries/Tots

While the hoagies are broiling, prepare fries or tater tots according to package instructions.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the meatball hoagies hot with a side of fries or tater tots.
