Prepare the Cake

    Preheat Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet.

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    Mix Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.

    Combine Mixtures

    Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts.

    Prepare Topping

    In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and chopped hazelnuts.

    Assemble in Skillet

    Pour the batter into the prepared skillet and sprinkle the topping evenly over the batter.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Make Chantilly Cream

    In a medium bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
