Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shaved beef, season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, and sauté until browned and heated through, about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Make the Jus

In a small saucepan, bring the beef broth to a simmer. You can add additional seasoning or herbs to taste if desired. Keep warm.

  3. 3

    Toast the Baguette

Slice the sourdough baguette into sandwich-sized pieces. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and toast the baguette slices until golden brown on both sides.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On each toasted baguette piece, layer the sautéed shaved beef and top with provolone cheese. Use the horseradish sauce to spread on the inside of the top half of the baguette.

  5. 5

    Serve

Close the sandwich and serve with the warm beef broth on the side for dipping.
