Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Peppers

Wash the hot peppers thoroughly. Remove the stems and slice them into rings or leave them whole, depending on your preference.

  2. 2

    Make the Brine

In a medium saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, salt, sugar, garlic, black peppercorns, oregano, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the salt and sugar dissolve.

  3. 3

    Pickle the Peppers

Once the brine is boiling, add the prepared hot peppers. Remove from heat and let them sit for about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Transfer to Jars

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the peppers to sterilized jars. Pour the hot brine over the peppers, ensuring they are fully submerged.

  5. 5

    Seal and Cool

Seal the jars with lids and let them cool to room temperature. Once cooled, store them in the refrigerator.

  6. 6

    Wait and Enjoy

For best flavor, let the pickled peppers sit in the fridge for at least 24 hours before consuming. They can be enjoyed for up to 2 months.
