Method
Brew the Tea

Heat the Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweeten the Tea (optional)

Add Sweetener
If you prefer sweetened iced tea, stir in your choice of 1 cup granulated sugar or 1 cup honey while the tea is still warm. Stir until fully dissolved.
Cool and Serve

Cool the Tea
Allow the brewed tea to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour.

Serve with Garnishes
Serve the chilled tea over ice and garnish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves, if desired.
