- 1
Cook the Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the beef is cooking, wash and chop the lettuce and tomatoes. Set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Avocado
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Cut into slices and set aside.
Assemble the Tacos
- 4
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over low heat, warm the soft corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 5
Fill the Tacos
On each tortilla, add a portion of the cooked ground beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- 6
Add Condiments
Top with a dollop of sour cream, slices of avocado, and a spoonful of salsa.
Optional Side Dish
- 7
Prepare the Rice and Beans
If serving as a plate, reheat the cooked rice and refried beans in separate pots over low heat until warmed through.
- 8
