Prepare the Ingredients
Rinse and drain the black beans if using canned. Cook the rice according to package instructions if you haven't done so.

Layer the Ingredients
Warm the flour tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable. On each tortilla, layer 1/4 cup of black beans, 1/4 cup of cooked rice, 1/4 cup of shredded cheese, and 1/4 cup of salsa.

Fold the Burrito
To fold the burrito, first fold the sides of the tortilla inward over the filling. Then, starting from the bottom, roll the tortilla tightly until the burrito is sealed.

Heat the Burritos
In a skillet over medium heat, place the burritos seam-side down and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.

Slice the burritos in half if desired and serve with sour cream, chopped cilantro, and diced avocado on the side.
