A New Orleans staple, this hearty soup is loaded with all natural chicken, Smoked sausage, shrimp and vegetables and will satisfy even the hungriest of souls. We simmer our gumbo for two days to bring out it amazing flavor.

Add the Meats
Stir in the smoked sausage and chicken thighs. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the chicken is browned.

Add Liquids and Seasonings
Pour in the chicken broth and canned diced tomatoes. Add the bay leaves, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Simmer
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally. For best flavor, simmer for up to 48 hours.

Add Shrimp and Okra
In the last 15 minutes of cooking, add the shrimp and okra. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Serve
Remove bay leaves before serving. Serve the gumbo over cooked white rice.
