Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder until well combined.

3

Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

4

Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

5

Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6

Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips gently until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Baking

7

Pour Batter

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

8

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

9

Cool and Cut

Remove the brownies from the oven, let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.
