Preparation of Rice

1

Cook the Rice

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of long-grain rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

Cooking the Seafood Sauce

2

Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion, sauté until translucent.

3

Add Tomatoes and Cream

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

4

Add Seafood

Add the crawfish tails, crabmeat, and jumbo shrimp to the sauce. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
